EV Quotes – Installer Terms & Conditions

By registering as an Installer on EV Quotes (“EV Quotes”, “we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to the following Installer Terms & Conditions. These terms apply specifically to electricians and electrical contractors who join the EV Quotes platform.

1. Services Provided by EV Quotes

When you join EV Quotes as an Installer, you receive access to the following services:

• Visibility Across the EV Quotes Platform – Your business may be displayed in relevant city pages, search results, and other areas where EV Owners look for installers.
• Personal Branded Profile – EV Quotes creates or hosts a branded contractor profile to help build credibility and trust with EV Owners.
• Verified Installer Badge – Your profile includes a “Verified EV Quotes Installer” badge indicating you are an active member of the network.
• Access to the Quotes Dashboard – You receive login access to a dashboard where you can view, accept, and manage EV charger quote requests.
• Platform Launch & Growth Timeline – The EV Quotes platform is planned to officially launch in January 2026. Quote volume is expected to grow gradually, and it may take 12–24 months to reach sufficient quote volume across all areas.

EV Quotes does not guarantee any minimum number of quote requests, leads, jobs, or revenue.

2. Installer Code of Conduct

As an EV Quotes Installer, you agree to follow this Code of Conduct:

• Respond to quote requests and EV Owner messages in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide clear, honest, and transparent pricing and scope of work.
• Treat all EV Owners, staff, and other installers with respect.
• Show up on time for scheduled calls, site visits, and installations.
• Perform work to a safe, professional standard and in compliance with all applicable codes.
• Avoid misleading claims, high-pressure tactics, or deceptive marketing.

Failure to follow this Code of Conduct may result in warnings, suspension, or removal from the platform.

3. Installer Eligibility & Licensing Declaration

By registering as an Installer on EV Quotes, you declare and confirm that:

• You are a licensed electrician or electrical contractor in your province or territory, where licensing is required.
• You and/or your company maintain all required insurance coverage (including liability coverage) as required by law and your regulatory body.
• You have the legal right to perform electrical work and EV charger installations in the jurisdictions where you offer services.
• All information you provide to EV Quotes about your licensing, insurance, business status, and qualifications is true, accurate, and complete.
• You will promptly update EV Quotes if your licensing or insurance status changes or lapses.
• You authorize EV Quotes to request, receive, and review documentation or evidence of your licensing and insurance at any time, and to verify such information with regulators where applicable.

EV Quotes may, but is not obligated to, verify your credentials. You remain solely responsible for maintaining proper licensing and insurance at all times.

4. Role of EV Quotes

EV Quotes is an online marketplace that connects EV Owners with independent electrical contractors.

• EV Quotes does not provide electrical services and is not a licensed electrical contractor.
• EV Quotes is not a party to any agreement or contract between you and an EV Owner.
• EV Quotes does not supervise, direct, or control your work or the EV Owner’s decisions.

All agreements, pricing, timelines, and project outcomes are strictly between you and the EV Owner.

5. Membership Fees, Billing & Refunds

If you enroll in a paid plan or membership:

• Membership fees, billing cycles, and plan details will be shown at sign-up.
• Plans may renew automatically until you cancel.
• By enrolling, you authorize EV Quotes or its payment processor to charge your chosen payment method.

Refund & Cancellation Policy:

• Membership fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started.
• You may cancel future renewals at any time through your account or by contacting us; your access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Founders Deals, special discounts, and promotional rates are final once purchased and are not retroactively refundable.
• EV Quotes does not guarantee any particular volume of quotes, leads, or jobs, and lack of volume is not a basis for refund.

6. Use of the Platform & Acceptable Conduct

You agree that you will:

• Use EV Quotes only for lawful business purposes related to EV installation services.
• Not impersonate any other installer, company, or person.
• Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the platform, its servers, or security.
• Not scrape, copy, or harvest data from the platform without permission.
• Not upload malware, harmful code, or engage in any fraudulent activity.

EV Quotes reserves the right to suspend or terminate your installer account for violations of these terms.

7. Communication & Notifications

By registering as an Installer, you consent to receiving:

• Email notifications regarding quotes, messages, account activity, and service updates.
• SMS messages for time-sensitive alerts such as new quote requests, EV Owner replies, and other important account notifications.

You may opt out of marketing communications at any time. However, certain transactional messages (e.g., quote alerts, security notifications) are required for the proper operation of your account.

8. No Guarantee of Volume or Revenue

You understand and agree that:

• EV Quotes does not guarantee any minimum number of quotes, leads, jobs, or revenue.
• Quote volume will vary by city, season, and overall platform adoption.
• The launch timeline (January 2026) and 12–24 month ramp-up period are estimates and may change.

Your decision to join as an Installer is based on your own judgment and risk tolerance.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EV Quotes is not liable for:

• Loss of income or profits;
• Low quote or lead volume;
• Any disputes between you and EV Owners;
• Damage to property, delays, or workmanship issues;
• Temporary service interruptions, technical issues, or downtime.

In any case, EV Quotes’ total liability to you shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to EV Quotes in the last three (3) months, or CAD $100, whichever is greater.

10. Termination

EV Quotes may suspend or terminate your installer account, with or without notice, if:

• You violate these Installer Terms & Conditions;
• You provide false or misleading licensing, insurance, or business information;
• You engage in abusive, fraudulent, or unsafe activity;
• Required by law or regulatory authorities.

You may cancel your membership at any time through your account or by contacting EV Quotes.

11. Agreement & Acknowledgment

By checking the box on the registration form and submitting your application, you confirm that:

• You have read and understood these Installer Terms & Conditions.
• You agree to comply with the Installer Code of Conduct and Licensing Declaration.
• You understand that EV Quotes does not guarantee any particular number of quotes, jobs, or revenue.
• You are joining the platform as an independent business, not as an employee or agent of EV Quotes.
